Cutlam 4.0 metallographic cutting machine - Ø400 mm, motorized Z axis

The CUTLAM®4.0 is specially designed for manufacturing companies with high standards that are looking for reliable, high quality heavy-duty equipment with high cutting capacity.

It is a monobloc machine mounted on a pedestal with an integrated recirculation tank/decanter. The vertical lowering of the wheel can be controlled automatically (oleo pneumatic) or manually with the joystick. The maximum cutting drop is 240 mm.

Adapted for intensive use on heavy components, the CUTLAM®4.0 is equipped with a powerful 5.5 kW motor. The wheel speed is adjustable from 1000 to 4000 rpm, the feed speed is adjustable. Two cutting modes are available: automatic sequential with adjustable frequency or continuous.

An end-of-cycle sensor automatically shuts down the machine and lifts the wheel after each operation. The controls are easy to use and intuitive: they are centralized on the 5.7″ arm-mounted touch screen. The wide cast iron clamp bank has 6 longitudinal T-slots and 5 transverse slots, and as an optional extra can be made mobile along the X and A axes.
