CAMEO®Disk Platinium

CAMEO ® DISK Platinium are diamond discs (fixed abrasive) that are ideal for fast grinding of metallographic samples.

The use of diamond integrated in the honeycomb cell structure of CAMEO® DISK Platinium allows to preserve a constant material removal during the whole operation, avoiding the appearance of drops on the edges, even on samples of heterogeneous hardness.

CAMEO®DISK Silver, Gold & Rhodium

CAMEO ® DISK Silver, Gold & Rhodium discs are diamond-free abrasive discs developed for use with Bio DIAMANT ® abrasive products.

Material removal: The honeycomb cell structure of CAMEO® DISK allows to reduce the surface in contact with the sample to be polished. The pressure required to grind the sample is much lower than that generally applied during the use of a solid disk. The equipment is less stressed and the risks of tearing off the abrasive disc are significantly reduced.

Reproducibility: The honeycomb cell profile was specially designed to optimize the circulation of lubricant from one cavity to another. The abrasion residues are evacuated, guaranteeing a constant abrasive power and therefore a regularity of the result throughout the grinding and polishing stages.

Quality of preparation: For a process usually carried out with several SiC abrasive papers, LAM PLAN proposes a single reusable disc: the DISCO CAMEO ®. Unlike SiC abrasive papers, the constant abrasion CAMEO ® DISK prevents the formation of deep disturbed layers during the first seconds of polishing.
