Small and light portable hardness tester in which load forces are applied through a dynamometric load cell. Operational up to 360° of positioning, even upside down. Hardness tests in the laboratory or in the production department on tubes, profiles, valves and any bulky or small parts from a minimum thickness of 0.06 mm: the small penetration ensures excellent results on thin surfaces such as chrome coatings or on parts as thin as razor blade profiles. Hardness testing on almost all metals: chrome-plated surfaces, nitrided surfaces, aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, metal wire, hard and soft steel.

From round to flat, with automatic alignment of the indenter with the measuring axis. High accuracy in every measurement even on flexible surfaces. Completely unmanned, these hardness testers have the ability to operate up to 360° of positioning, even upside down.

Push without fear:

The pressure applied on the probe does not affect the result at all. Accurate test force is guaranteed by the internal dynamometric load cell, accurate in all conditions and at all times.

Very useful accessory especially for difficult to test elements and parts such as springs, wires and profiles. HARDTEST is a hand clamp system that adapts to your MKII or METALTEST, locks the specimen and allows stable measurements avoiding sample movements. Easy and safe with a test capacity of 30 x 30 mm. Comes with an anvil and various accessories.

Control console:

The MKII portable hardness tester features an intelligent digital console with LCD display, large hard disk for data storage and statistics and data outputs that connect to a printer or computer, with RS232C or USB connection upon request. The hardness test data are simultaneously displayed on the graphic LCD:
