Rectilam 2.0 - Automatic Pre-Polishing Machine

When the pre-polishing phase demands a high level of efficiency and precision, RECTILAM® 2.0 is the answer. This machine is particularly productive in the preparation of raw or coated samples by pre-polishing at high speed. Several parts can be installed in the central pressure sample holder. Large parts can also be treated individually.

The principle of high-speed stone pre-polishing allows significant material removal and unparalleled flatness without edge rounding. The unique block design and stiffness of RECTILAM® 2.0 prevent vibrations detrimental to the surface condition. To ensure significant and uniform material removal, a reconditioning system automatically follows each polishing step.

The unique feature of RECTILAM® 2.0 is its 2-axis principle. The Z-axis handles the motorized raising and lowering of the reconditioning tool and the pressurization of the sample holder.

During the start cycle, the sample/grind starting point is automatic. Stock disposal is managed on a continuous basis. The real-time display shows the operator whether the rectification settings entered are appropriate. All parameters are clearly managed and displayed on the 5.7″ touch screen with graphic display.
