Lubricants are essential in metallographic polishing because they reduce friction and wear between the sample and the polishing paper, thus avoiding damage to the sample and ensuring a flat and uniform surface. In addition, lubricants also help to remove polishing residues and lower the temperature generated during the polishing process. Together, these factors contribute to improved sample quality and accuracy in metallographic polishing.

Lubricant MM702

Lubricant to optimize polishing with Bio DIAMANT® 100 series diamond pastes and 122 and 123P series rods. Ready to use, it ensures excellent dispersion of the abrasive and avoids the risk of heating the material during polishing. This lubricant is easily cleaned with water, alcohol or aqueous detergents.

Lubricant MM704

Alcohol-based lubricant perfectly suited for polishing corrosion-sensitive samples. Ready to use, ensures strong cooling during work.

This lubricant is especially recommended for polishing ductile materials.
For cleaning, the use of detergent 742 or alcohols such as isopropyl alcohol is recommended.

Booster for CAMEO® DISK Platinium

Booster fluid is a new lubricant specially developed to be applied on CAMEO® DISK Platinium during the polishing stage. Its specific formulation facilitates the use of CAMEO® DISK Platinium 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Ready to use, this new lubricant keeps the efficiency of the CAMEO® DISK constant over time and avoids the use of abrasive stone to regenerate the disc.
