Criteria for soil marking selection
It is important to look for marking solutions in accordance with the conditions of the environment in which we find ourselves. A wrong choice of belt qualities can lead to premature wear of the belts, resulting in extra costs for your company. Factors such as the type of soil, ambient humidity, presence of oil or traffic of personnel and vehicles will indicate which type of tape to use. (see here for the performance of each type of belt).
What areas of your warehouse should be delimited?

To strengthen the security of your organization, you should implement clear, consistent and intuitive floor marking.

In the initial phase, it will be essential to signpost pedestrian areas, vehicle transit areas and storage areas (both material and equipment) to promote safety and order in the warehouse, as well as other areas considered hazardous.

Pedestrian crossing areas:

Delimit them correctly to provide a safe passage area for your operators and visitors.

Vehicle transit areas:

They must be marked with continuous visible stripes, as well as pictograms showing the type of vehicles that can circulate on them.

Storage areas:

Especially those reserved for the storage of hazardous materials must be marked with yellow or red stripes.

What colors should you use to mark your warehouse floor?

The colors (RAL color chart) listed below are those we are accustomed to using to mark our industrial floors and are therefore listed here for information only; please note that you will need to consider the color of your floor when making your choice.

Red (3020): danger or prohibition.
Orange (2004): chemical storage.
Yellow (1018): warning or danger.
Green (6024): information, direction or evacuation.
Blue (5017): obligation or protection.
White (9016): traffic lanes and storage areas.
Black (9017): elimination of lines on asphalt.
